Gabriela Rayssa
ART IDENTITY AND MOVEMENT
Gabriela Rayssa Diamond – Art, Identity and Movement. Gabriela Rayssa Diamond is a Brazilian visual artist who found in fine art a way to express her identity and emotions. Originally from São Paulo and having lived in Florianópolis, her trajectory is marked by a deep connection with nature, Brazilian culture, and the experimentation with techniques that challenge the limits of tradition. Her work combines gouache and paper in a unique approach, where the paint, even when dry, maintains the appearance of always being wet. This fluidity creates an illusion of movement and depth, making each work alive and intense.
Over the years, Gabriela has expanded her repertoire beyond paper, exploring canvases, acrylic, furniture, and even musical instruments as supports for her creations. Her art has become a reflection of her restlessness and desire to transform common surfaces into pieces that tell stories and awaken emotions.
With a keen eye for color and composition, her works have already gained space in prestigious venues, including the international hotel chain Selina, known for promoting art and culture around the world. Furthermore, her talent and originality have been recognized globally, securing her an invitation to exhibit in Italy in April 2025, an opportunity that solidifies her presence on the international art scene.
Art as a Representation of Brazilian Women
More than just creating, Gabriela carries a purpose in her trajectory: to represent the strength, dedication, and talent of Brazilian women in the art world. In a country rich in culture and diversity, she seeks to break down barriers and demonstrate that art made by women can and should be valued.
"My goal is to represent Brazil and show that Brazilian women can be respected and recognized for their art, their hard work, and their dedication. Art has the power to transcend borders, and through it, I want to take our culture and identity to the world."
With this vision, Gabriela continues to expand her horizons, taking her creations to new spaces and consolidating her name as an artist who not only paints but transforms, questions, and inspires.
